The Sun is the character who first appears in The First Day, but it was unknown what gender she was until Ice Cream Headache, where it is learned that she is in fact a female. The Sun's heat and intensity are linked to her emotions (e.g. angry = more heat).

The Sun is usually seen with a pink nose, mouth, glasses, and black eyes and is later seen in Ice Cream Headache that she has bright pink hair. The sun is yellow and is almost a perfect circle.
